Awhile ago I read a post on talking skills, just saying hi in a line or starting a convo by stating something your both waiting for ie if someone looks like they dont know what to choose starting the convo by saying theres way to mainly to chose from. (Sorry for the bad explanation)

I've used that so many times now but I really tried hard on 2 of them and I've made a new friend! I keep making her laugh and we have great banter after 6 days and it's great! I even invited her to a party/small gathering i had and she came to that!

That's another thing! I had a gathering at my place, only invited a few friends but people actually came and enjoyed them selfs! And I hosted it.

Ever since I got diagnosed with adhd I've had realization after realization and I've been slowly trying to do better and I'm so happy for how far I've come in 8 months, having a party and making one new friend is only this months accomplishment. I've made probably a life monger friend who has helped me with my social skills, shes been my rock for at least 4 months, and before her I was going so slow but I was getting to the right places.

I've improved a lot and I felt I was terrible, never knowing when and where to stop, never realizing things and all the other stuff I was oblivious to. If I can have little but loads of growth in 8 months imagine what you can do in 4 or 2 or even a few weeks. Keep trying and keep going, your going to get there
