What are "everyday things" considered
Post Body

While I have amazing social skills and a great ability to understand people, sometimes it's hard to get people to open up with manipulating or playing pretend until they trust you (which makes forming authentic friendship that aren't just about me kinda hard)

I was at a point of considering doing social experiments just to engage with people and see how simple people can be ( a controversial experiment on influence and how the power of suggestion works) as talking to people and wanting to be around them has kinda become hard (most conversations kinda just have the other person thinking I am amazing and smart, but I know, feel, and hear almost nothing from them, and my goal is us, not me)

But instead while sharing this thought with somone I ran into (who I have met in the past and was expressing my social frustration with people) his friend heard my thoughts and wondered why don't I just try talking everyday things with them and see where they take it?

I looked back at her, and realized, I have no idea what everyday things are, as most people tend to talk alot about what sounds like nothing when I think of others talking everyday things, and the only thing that is regular occruance for me is me not liking how people look up to me or seem unmotivated to pursue their goals or solve their problems.

So let me ask here, what are everyday things and how can I talk about them without feeling like I am talking without purpose or value (as I tend to focus more on what can we do, and how can we get there to get to where we want to be, learn, or understand kinda mentality) ....

Also fair warning if I debate, question, or challenge an idea, it is not because I innately disagree or am saying it's wrong, it's because I am trying to understand it, figure out if it's relevant to my own situation, or discuss somthing that may be a problem or road block for me in relation to the advice or ideas.
