One thing I seem to struggle with while on dates with women is eye contact. I donāt have trouble holding strong eye contact but I never know how long I should hold it because I donāt want to creep them out by holding for too long or seem nervous for holding too short. Then, when I break eye contact, I tend to kind of dart my eyes to the left or right quick and it probably seems even weirder or obvious and then I kind of stare away for a few seconds before reestablishing the eye contact which may also seem weird. Is there a rule of thumb or something I can do that may help with this? I always hear āhold eye contact for 5 seconds then breakā or something but if Iām sitting there counting in my head then iām not listening or paying close attention to what she is saying and that sucks too. Any help here?
