I (25F) was really close with a bunch of guys in college. Two of them were my best friends, and we spent pretty much all day every day together until COVID hit and our college was shut down. They were never big texters, so I didnât try to reach out to them much, because I thought that wasnât how they really liked to communicate. And when I did text them they gave me one word responses, which I was never offended by as I took it as âstereotypical guy textingâ style. But itâs been several years and I miss them, and want to reach out and check in and see how theyâre doing. Falling out of touch with them is one of my biggest regrets, but I just always worried Iâd come across as needy and annoying when reaching out, since their texting habits were so different than those of my female friends. Do any of yâall have suggestions of how to reach back out to them and express that I want to revitalize our friendship? Thanks in advance!
