Just to give an introduction I am a social media manager in a fairly large MNC and I am managing 7 SM channels on my own. (Crazy yes) . Last year my previous content manager quit and some of her work has been offloaded to me. One of them is the video content creation plan and execution.
I will say I am terrible at this and I am not sure if other social media managers here have a similar issue. I am unable to manage planning a year's worth of video content and make sure those videos are created while managing my 7 channels. Also, I am not the content expert for these videos which makes things even harder. My manager is upset that my plan does not make sense to her even though it does to me. Every time it comes to some kind of content planning she gets upset with my plan and I don't know how to justify taking this off my plate. Because if I were to say that this is actually the earlier content manager's job and the new content manager should take over seems lazy.
Alternatively, if there are any of you who have managed to do both seamlessly please tell me how you do this with more than 3 channels.
EDIT [i am clearly distraught and stress, not flist but reddit]
