Could Teams and Zoom work like Discord, using just usernames (for privacy) and not real info?

Post Body

I don’t have a lot of experience with Teams and Zoom (using the interface and features) and mostly have used them for joining work meetings and that’s it. I’ve used Discord (via Reddit) for the most part and am familiar with how that works. The only thing, I have a new group of people that may be more familiar with using Teams and Zoom, so can those platforms function like Discord? I know with Discord you just use usernames and your email etc is not visible and that would be best for this group/privacy. So can Teams and Zoom work like that?
