it's such a bullshit loaded term. First it treats speech as if it happens in a vacuum. So we should let Nazis freely radicalize people and dehumanize minorities? This is ignoring that the dehumanization part is the biggest hurdle to cross to genocide. Once we allow these fucks to dehumanize people it's pretty easy to justify whatever you want to these nonpersons. This speech doesn't happen in isolation, speech always is a pretext to action.

It's like inviting a child molester to babysit your kids on the promise that once you give him this opportunity that he won't act upon his urges when they are alone.

Liberals are essentially saying to Nazis "ok ok I'll let you march in the streets, radicalize people, hold rallies and dehumanize whoever you want but promise me you won't start killing people after you gain this power."
