We are having an engineering presentation in my class and it's literally nothing but classist bullshit

I'm sitting in class right now and the presenter has disparaged working class people countless times. "This is why we make the big bucks because we don't flip burgers" I'm sick to my stomach over this bullshit. Fuck this if this is what engineering is. I want to help people and make life easier for people as an engineer not get rich. Goddamn I feel like I'm alone in this shit in my mechanical engineering program.
