What are your thoughts on capitalist countries' motivations for taking in refugees?
Post Body
I just saw a headline that said the US plans on taking in at least 110k refugees in 2017.
In light of this and the past acceptance of refugees in some european countries what do you think the motivations are?
The official statement is that countries should help the world's vulnerable. Do you believe this? Is this an example of Bourgeois countries genuinely showing some heart, or are there less benevolent goals beneath the surface? A mix of both?
