I just had a conversation with a friend about the rationality of white supremacy within a capitalist context. Capitalist economies must have an exploited class of people and racism and sexism are tools that ensure that a class of easily exploited people exist. It is certainly plausible if black people were the majority power in our current economic system white people could be in a similar situation that black people are now in this country.
It seems like fascism is at least nominally rational within the capitalist system.
Of course I am not advocating for any of this but do you think what i said is true within the confines of capitalist.
As a socialist i reject all of this and rather than try to ensure my place atop the shit pile I question why there has to be a shitpile in the first place.
Not sure the point of the post but wanted to get your input. Do you think what I said is off base? Is it accurate?
