I've been told before that I don't, "act like I have social anxiety," because I'm an extrovert. I'm fairly good at small talk, and I enjoy large social settings--even if I'm not talking to anyone. I prefer being social, ideally, over being alone. I feel like this is uncommon? IDK I don't really hear about people with SAD enjoying parties or social events. And see, that's part of how SAD manifests for me; I'm only making this post so I can find out if I'm good enough to be in this community. I'm an extrovert, but did that make me... Idk... "less qualified" to be socially anxious? Obviously the psychiatrist who diagnosed me and my therapist would say I qualify, but... Do I really? I'm sorry if that doesn't make any sense.
