I'd Never Considered Myself Socially Anxious....

Post Body

So, I had a major depressive episode and have been signed off work for a month. Doctor put me on Citalopram and told me to relax and form some positive habits over this time. I'm 2 weeks into my treatment, and I suddenly care a lot less what people think about me. I'm not so awkward around people, I make small talk easier and I don't get tongue tied when I'm put on the spot.

Googled around and found Citalopram is used off label to treat social anxiety. So weird as I never considered myself socially anxious, just a bit of a dork.

So, what are your symptoms of social anxiety, and how do you manage them?
