advice on how to seem more positive
Post Body

hopefully this is the right place to ask this. so i’m 30f and have always been shy, not very many social contacts, etc. i’ve learned to live with it but lately i’ve gotten more involved in my community and have been around more people than i’m used to, and i notice that i probably seem for lack of a better word somewhat negative or just maybe give off bad vibes. i’m not very talkative (i find it hard to start convos but can generally talk to people once we get started on a topic) and i have a very deadpan and sarcastic tone/affect most of the time. i feel kind of bad because i feel like i give off the impression of being judgmental or of not liking people and i think some people are awkward around me because of that. i know i can’t help people’s notions of my self so i’m just trying not to let it get me down and reinforce it but also i’d like to maybe try to seem more positive or friendly body language wise, does anyone possibly have any tips? TIA and very much obliged
