I was invited to go hiking, sleep over, & sauna in a beautiful place with some people I marginally know. Said yes right away!

24 hours later upon further contemplation, started to get uncomfortable. Marginally planning to pack stuff. Get a text about the ride I am catching - slight hiccup in the pickup.

I Totally Bail.

Sitting here trying not to be sad about how I screw myself sometimes.

There are two types of measuring this fallout. First, in the emotional drain of worrying over hanging out with strangers. Second, in missing an opportunity to have an adventure.
