So I started balding at 17-19 and then decided to shave it when I turned 21. I didn’t fully shave it, it was down to 3. It didn’t look as bad as I thought it would be, but I feel like I lost so much confidence. I used to walk into a place feeling way more confident. Specially from the dating aspects. I don’t think a girl my age would consider dating me once she finds out I’m bald. That is also why I’m tryna avoid wearing hats as much as possible. All my friends have a head full of hair and I don’t envy any of them of course, but sometimes it just sucks. I guess I’m posting this just to see someone else struggling with me but somehow overcame it and is still doing good and his dating life is okay. Being bald at 21 definitely sucks as a person that LOVES hair. It’s been around 2 weeks since I’ve shaved my hair. Now it looks bad cause I have a hard M on top and now it is way to obvious, I don’t know wether to grow it out a little or literally shave it again, but this time fully off.
Literally the exact same age I started balding and shaving mine too. Mine was super aggressive and I already had the horseshoe pattern. I relate heavy with ya brother. Definitely not alone with how you feel.
