17' - Alexis skips past Thiago Silva and then tries as he takes it into the box, Miranda makes a good tackle on him to stop him in his path.

19' - Yellow card for Thiago Silva

22' - Neymar writhes in pain and as Medel gets up after tumbling down with the Brazilian he stands on Neymar's leg. Bit naughty. Thanks to /u/Camaradona

26' - Free kick on the left and Neymar whips it in. Souza just isn't tall enough to get a toe flick onto it, but the ball goes through and Bravo is forced to turn the ball round the post.

29' - A great counter attack from Chile via Alexis sees Aranguiz take a shot at goal but its blocked away. Just before that, another shot was taken but blocked as well.

30' - Alexis attempts a 35 yard shot, but he sends it into row Z.

35' - The Mexican wave going round the stadium shows the lack of chances in the game.

36' - Alexis goes down twice in the box but nothing is given either time.

37' - A good chance for Douglas Costa. Marcelo crosses from the left to the Shakhtar man at the back post. Costa controls well on his chest before firing a rasping volley wide of the near post.

45' - Yellow card for Neymar - Persistent fouling

Second Half Updates

45' - Back underway for the second half.

54' - First good chance of the half as Isla gets in down the right and tries to cross into the middle. Thiago Silva gets there first though and clears it away.

57' - Two marauding runs from Alexis and Neymar. First, Neymar gets halted after a 40 yard run with a brilliant tackle. Then Alexis picks the ball up and runs at the Brazil defence and takes a shot on his left foot, but sends it wide of the goal.

60' - Elias, Robinho and Firmino replace Coutinho, Souza and Luiz Adriano

62' - Vidal takes a shot from 25 yards out but its wide of the goal and doesn't trouble Jefferson.

62' - Douglas Costa is replaced by Willian

63' - Yellow card for Miranda - He brings down Alexis as he ran through on goal. Chilean players ask for a red, but Marcelo was covering.

64' - Alexis takes the resulting free kick but he sends it over the bar and Jefferson had it covered.

67' - Willian brings down Alexis, 30 yards out from goal. Alexis steps up to take the free kick and he powers it at goal but Jefferson is forced to get down and save.

72' - GOAAAAAL BRAZIL! A defence splitting pass from Danilo sees Firmino in on goal. He takes the ball round Bravo before slotting home. Thanks to /u/Omar_Til_Death

76' - Filipe Luis replaces Marcelo

78' - Another chance for Firmino. Danilo and Willian combine and Danilo crosses along the ground to Firmino who buts back and then shoots but its well wide of the goal.

80' - Arturo Vidal is replaced by Eduardo Vargas

81' - Yellow card for Elias - A late challenge.

82' - Eugenio Mena is replaced by Mark Gonzalez

83' - Neymar tries to run through the Chile defence and ends up getting tackled. The ball falls to Robinho who shoots from range but its wide of goal.

84' - Yellow card for Fernandinho - Persistent fouling

86' - Fernandinho makes another silly challenge just after being booked and Chile have a free kick which Fernandez takes and he forces Jefferson to get down to his right and make a strong save.

86' - A crucial tackle from Aranguiz stops Brazil from having a 4-on-1 situation.

89' - A few pitch invaders find their way onto the field and are led away by stewards.

90' - Robinho tries to hit a volley at goal but his effort turns more into a pass and Chile fail to clear properly and Willian ends up firing over.

90' - 3 minutes added on.

90 1' - Yellow card for Mark Gonzalez - A strong challenge which gets punished.

90 2' - Neymar wins a free kick after being brought down by Alexis just outside the Chilean box.

90 3' - Neymar steps up to take it and he curls his effort just wide of the goal.
