hiking spots/hot springs up highway 1?

Iām driving from LA to Monterey up highway one and the two hot springs I wanted to hit up (hot springs canyon and goleta) seem to both be closed because of winter weather/trail conditions, which is disappointing. Looking for recommendations for any hiking (day trip) or hot springs I might not be aware of on my trip up? If there are any do-able day hikes to mountains or places with snow Iād definitely consider that too, though I only have boots and no spikes/alpine equipment. Thanks, appreciate it!
