Why does my soap leave a tacky, grippy feeling when I wash with it?

I just recently got into soap making and I'm starting out with melt and pour soaps. I made two different soaps, one using a goat's milk base and the other using an aloe vera base. Both are m&p bases from Bramble Berry. I also used some of their succulent fragrance oil and some rose essential oil I had on hand. All of my soap came out with this same awful feeling after I wash with it that I can only describe as being drying, tacky, and grippy. It's like the same feeling I get when I use bad, cheap soap at a hotel.

Can anyone tell me what causes this feeling when I wash with my soap? Is it just normal for m&p? Is it the brand I'm using? Am I not using enough eo/fo? Should I look into detergent free bases? I've also read online that it could have to do with the pH balance in the soap being wrong.
