Hi, we're working on a new subreddit that focuses on /r/urbanhomesteading. I emailed the mods here to ask if we could post a quick intro because there might be a good deal of overlap between our two communities.

We are working on weekly (maybe bi-weekly) events that are focused on niches of urban homesteading - so far we've done 'fall gardening' and 'fermenting'. We'd like to do 'soapmaking' soon, and I'll be sure to x-post here when we do.

In the meantime, if you think you might be interested in helping guide a discussion in that event, please pm me and I'll make sure we schedule it at a time that suits you.
