Declining game activity?

I'm not saying this game is dieing, but i noticed some unsettling trends:
- the subreddit barely has 100 members online at a time
- sometimes you cannot find lobbies during the 30 sec period
- on the other hand, sometimes you cannot get members to join you occasionally
- the SOA twitter message about the emergency maintenance has a whooping 2 retweets and 14 likes (present moment)
- 9/10 events are a rerun
i love this game and want it to continue until servers die of old age, but out of curiosity, how is the activity on the JP side? Has anyone else noticed general activeness issues?
