I've been thinking about the recent first two accessories we have gotten recently with offensive stat capabilities, the Symbol of the Snow God and the Hawkeye Charm. Mostly because it's such a pain to farm the Symbol to LB5 due to it's drop rate.

At first I was thinking the Hawkeye charm was better, but then I realized that the Crit% won't stack with any Post-Rush buffs like Maria/Millie's and if there's an Anne in the party it just doesn't apply ever. The 5% Stun rate isn’t very high and also doesn’t stack with Roddick, whom I main and is at the moment very popular. That being said the 25% Freeze Nullification while relevant now, will be niche later. I'm going to call them even on their secondary effects as both equally niche and focus on their primary effect. I was going to comment on the lack of defense from a non LB Hawkeye Charm, but in all honesty I don't see it as that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. If you want DEF you know what trinkets you want to use.

Here’s my thinking on this. I don’t know what ratio there is on HIT to Crit%. If it’s like HIT/100=Crit% then we got a clear winner in the Symbol of the Snow God. If it's like...HIT/1000 then maybe not so much.

I haven’t seen any confirmation on the HIT to Crit formula, so if anyone could clarify on that I would greatly appreciate it. I’m thinking it’s probably something like HIT/200=Crit%, which would multiply your existing chance of crit by 1.05x with the symbol equipped. (Not a flat increase as it is a percent of your base HIT). The HIT buff would apply both before and after any Rush buffs as well, making it useful all the time unlike with the Hawkeye Charm.

Feedback on this? I’m probably going to continue going through the hell grind of Misery 1 praying I get 3 more Symbols, but I wanted your thoughts on the matter.
