Sanity check of my snowboard + binding choice needed

Hi All,
First time buying my own snowboard after a few seasons of renting.
I'm about 5'10", 165 lbs, size 11.5 (US) boot.
I'm an intermediate rider, focused just having a bit of fun and generally goofing around. Tend to ride a bit of everything. Sometimes bombing it down and carving, sometimes taking it easy and attempting to butter my way down.
So I decided on a YES basic 156W, and a Saloman District L binding. (My Boots are Adidas sambas) Is this a good setup for my use case?
