Hey yall. Just lookin to grab me a board for the winter. Im really stoked to plunge into this sport. Unfortunately I'm in the SE, so powder is limited.
Anyways, I'm hearing and reading a lot of mixed opinions on board fitting, so I thought I'd have someone knowledgeable help me out.
I'm 5'6 165lbs, and size 8 and I've never been on a board. I defintely am interested in catching some big air and doing a few tricks in the future, thus I need a board that will fit that style.
I'd like to get a fairly sporty board, but not too far beyond my means. I'm not afraid to bust my ass and use the snow as hydration until I get better. I'd much rather invest in a board with a higher skill ceiling and higher capability than start out on a giant newbie board, but obviously not beyond my means.
Lemme hear your thoughts
