Hey all. I'm a 38 y/o female, and this is my third season boarding, although technically my first season having any idea what I'm actually doing. We went to Keystone in Colorado yesterday, and got there around 9:30am, after the snow had been dumping for awhile. The wind was fairly strong, and the snow, well....it felt like I was boarding on moguls all the way down Schoolmarm. I'm at a point where on a regular day, I'm not fighting the mountain - I point the board down and I do big, loopy S-turns and corkscrews. Yesterday that wasn't working at all - I was constantly fighting everything, my knees hurt like mad, and I felt like I was back at square one. What are some strategies and techniques for boarding on snow like that?
