What are these threads?

A lot of the posts on /r/snowboarding focus on weather forecasts and current conditions from various news sources, some of which are reliable and some aren't. This is a weekly thread where we can discuss the immediate and seasonal forecasts of mountains around the world, the overall weather patterns, a place where people can ask questions about the forecasts, and where riders can report conditions. We really want a collaborative atmosphere (pun intended) with these posts, so feel free to make comments and ask questions!

P.S. I'd like to apologize for not doing one of these last week, I was with family over the holiday weekend and unable to devote time on here.
