Exploring my options for next winter for the annual trip abroad. I've explored a lot of the Alps and I'm considering Italy to visit family, drink wine, and crush pow up in Monterosa Italy.
I am coming to you guys for tips about traveling around and getting up to the mountains. I was thinking it may be best to fly in to Rome, kick it with the family for a few days, and then train up to Turin. Rent a car in Turin and drive from there.
Anyone have any experience with this region and could lend some insights?
