Rear heel making contact on frontside turns

Post Body

A few times over the last week on vacation, my rear heel made contact with the snow while making frontside (edit) heelside turns and stops causing me to lose traction and fall.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it something that I just have to work on avoiding? Could my bindings be playing a role in this? I wear a size 10.5 boot with XL Ride Revolt bindings, pushed all the way forward to my toe side.

Any tips or info would be welcome.
