State of Sniper Elite 5 Multiplayer?

Hi guys, i played Sniper Elite one when it come out long time ago and i really liked it. I played 2 when it came out too. But i have not played 3, 4 and 5.
Today i find out that there is a multiplayer in 5 and about that invasion thing and i'm blown away how original and cool it is. Great idea from devs.
So i want to buy it for PC. Only problem is i'm afraid i'm little late for the party as game is 2 years old now. I'm tight on budget so i would not like to buy a game if multiplayer part is not alive anymore.
So can someone please tell me are there players in EU region?
