I have a 1 year old male rosy boa that has been eating great since I got him in April last year, but now he hasn’t eaten in 18 days. I’ve heard they sometimes go off food during the winter but I’ve never experienced this before (my only other snake is a corn snake who’s never refused food in 6 years lol). I will say that my apartment heat stopped working for a bit before his hunger strike started, making the room drop down to 60 degrees for about a day. My corn snake wasn’t affected, but I’m thinking it might have caused my rosy boa to refuse his food. Maybe he’ll get hungry again once the weather warms up, but how long can he go without food before I should worry? Any advice is appreciated!
