TLDR; What type of snake is only big enough to eat mice but won't get big to where they must eat rats? I'm willing to feed mice but not rats.
I'm looking to start breeding mice. I know the population of mice can get out of hand quickly and I plan to eventually breed quality pet mice which requires a lot of nitpicking.
Hi, this may be a bit of a strange inquiry.
I figure a pet snake would be a decent option for keeping the mouse population regulated.
I was wondering if there is a type of snake that gets only big enough to eat mice. I am absolutely not willing to feed any of my rats to a snake and am not interested in breeding my rats for that.
I've always wanted a snake as well, so it wouldn't just be a mouse eater but also a pet, so a decent temperament would be nice as well.
Sorry if these seems odd or cruel lmao
