A couple questions about my Cali King baby

So: this is my first snake. I got Rorschach here as a baby from a breeder just a week ago. He’s been handling everything great. Very active and friendly. Doesn’t strike. I want to make sure he is continuously being handled properly so he stays that way.

I fed him on Saturday and he ate with no problem and has been docile since. Under his water bowl. He hasn’t really moved since.

Today I got home from work and I see his eyes are blue. He still hasn’t moved much. I see him move a little but I just wanted to be sure I am doing everything right. So basically:

1: Is it normal for snakes to be so still like this after eating?

2: is it okay for him to go this long without being handled?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
