I have a few beaded lancetooths and one of them, Monty, isn't doing too hot. I noticed they weren't being too active and one thing I noticed is their body looks a bit too small for their shell. I tried to coax them into eating and it took them a couple minutes before they were able to properly orient their head out; it almost looked they were struggling to figure out how to exit their shell. Once they did, they barely moved at all. I placed food in front of Monty but they couldn't even move that far. Throughout the entire ordeal they never exited their shell fully and their eyes were retracted the entire time as well. I also noticed that it was almost like they were walking "sideways" as in their foot was not really in contact with my hand, and I assume that this is what made it difficult for Monty to move much. I looked up some possible causes, like mantle collapse and gut extrusion, but Monty didn't seem to be experiencing any of those. Does anybody have any idea as to what is wrong with them, i'm really worried for them :(
I attached some photos of them. Sorry for the bad quality, my phone refused to zoom into Monty
