ok so i know exoterras are not ideal for snails because of the mesh top but since i live in a very humid place and i mist multiple times a day it has been good
however, my cat is OBSESSED with the snail and wants to lay on the enclosure all the time to stare at it 😌 so i bought some cheap acrylic sheets on amazon and cut them to size. i think it looks good and it might be a good solution if anyone wants to use an exoterra terrarium for a snail! and tbh you can't even tell its there. now my cat can lay on her bed and stare at Sorbet to her heart's delight
i wanted to share, maybe it can help somebody out

Fuck no. I hope you don’t do this to your cats.
“It’s Better to teach and reward your cats where to be rather than not to go and punish them with water squirts. What you’re teaching by doing the latter is for them to fear the person who’s holding the bottle rather than why or where. Cats CAN distinguish this well enough to learn to dislike the person who’s punishing them. You could leave the bottle behind where you don’t want the kitties to go while nobody is present and they’ll just ignore the bottle. Pick up the bottle and they’ll learn quickly it’s the person to fear. “
Spraying cats with water has been proven many times to be less effective than other training message while also eliciting the wrong reaction.
