Should I be feeding my snails everyday?

Currently my snails are fed on the following schedule: Monday and Wednesday (assorted veggies on both days) and Friday (protein). I put in the food dish when I do their evening mist which is around 8/9 pm and when I get up around 7/8 am the plate is completely clean of vegetables/protein. Obviously, they are all hungry enough to finish the food, but I wondered if maybe then they are hungry on the off nights too?
