Love my gravity smoker, but the thing eats charcoal. What would you guys recommend as a replacement, with similar heat management?
Post Body

I've had my Masterbuilt 1050 for a few years now and have gotten a lot of use out of it and it's been wonderful to me, with the exception of how quickly it goes through charcoal. I've sealed leaks, tightened latches, but it still uses an excessive amount. The build quality is also not the greatest, and a lot of the time, I don't need so much cooking space.

My plan is to replace my gravity as my daily driver with a smaller, more efficient smoker, and use the gravity for big cooks only. I'm looking for a setup that has a similar automated temp management, but one that isn't a pellet smoker. What would you guys recommend that'd be a great replacement?

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
