Hey happy new year, everyone. Hope you all had a nice one. Today I find myself with a pack of Maverick reds, and I wanted to share my thoughts. Look, I wish I had the money for a $13 pack of Marlboro reds every day (that's NJ for you 😢). But I don't. So instead of complaining, I do the adult thing and compromise. It's not always easy. Lord knows that. Look, I don't think any seasoned cigarette smoker will look at you in the eye and say they honestly believe Mavericks are better cigarettes than Marlboro. But... they get the job done. Sure, they don't have the smoothness and appeal of Marlboro, but when you're faced with paying $13 for one pack, or pay an extra dollar, $14, for two packs... you do the math. It's like Miller Lite. Sure, Miller Lite isn't your world-class Czech pilsner, but when you're in a pinch and wanna have a drink, you gotta do what you gotta do. Especially with the prices of things nowadays.
