they just fucking charged my card for the $250 down payment when chat support yesterday told me they canceled the automatic charge and that I wouldn't be charged and it wouldn't automatically be placed.

today I woke up and the order was placed and my card was charged $250 anyway. now I'm sitting here with chat support trying to get a refund, and if they don't figure it out I'm going to do a chargeback. Today's support rep told me the one I spoke to yesterday did NOT cancel the preauth on my card even though she told me she had cancelled it. WTF.

oh, also, yesterday I was transferred to a dental specialist to talk to about my treatment plan. when I was transferred I sat there for 20 minutes, typing whenever chat asked me if I was still there, and received zero response from her aside from her opening canned intro, so I gave up and disconnected.

fuck this service. fuck SDC. do not fuck with this company.
