Post Body

I started SDC with the intention of fixing some crooked bottom teeth. As I got to step, 3 I noticed my bite was off, like my molars were no longer aligned. I was already worried about the black triangles I would get after treatment but was assured I could get that taken care of by my dentist after.

But I just couldn’t continue paying this much for a treatment with no real direct professional overseeing it, with the bite issue being the number one concern from dissatisfied customers, and still having to get corrective treatment afterwards to fix the triangle thing.

I went through the app and used the AI chat to beg for a representative. I got one eventually and asked for a refund. They started the process and about 5 days later my support rep contacted me by phone and left a VM and sent me an email. I chose to respond by email so I had a document trail (took screen shots of the chat conversation).

About 3 days later I got a response with instructions to take 2 pictures of my aligners (one before the rest are open, and one with them cut in half.

About 3 days later I got an email saying my money should return to my account in up to 10 business days (that was for the down payment… still waiting, but that was only Thursday)

Next day I got an email saying the first (and only) monthly payment will be returned in 5 business days (still waiting)

I was not happy with the direction of my treatment plan, but so far the refund process has been smooth…. Just need patience.
