Leffen talks about burnout and skipping pools. Why is this a good/bad idea and what do you think tournaments should do about it?
Post Body

Leffen recently posted on Twitter about how top players are expected to do more than just play. Qualifying to skip rounds of pools would free them up more and help reduce the concerns of burnout that have been plaguing players recently.

There are more tournaments than ever before and they are growing larger and larger. Genesis 3 did this and that tournament was amazing. Although it was met with resistance there as well. I'm curious on the pros/cons of this system and if we should start seriously considering it for more tournaments heading towards the future.

TL;DR Qualifying players skipping pools. Pros/Cons?
