We already know how frustrating this challenge can be, but after some time of attempting to get it I think I need some experienced input. For those who do not know, in Smash Tour, a variety of board hazard characters can appear and interacting with them has various effects, in this case a large metroid will show up, once the metroid comes across the same space on the board as the player (or CPU), it will steal some of your stats, such as speed, jump, etc. the second time a player runs into the metroid you will take those stats that were stolen.
Here is the issue however, the metroid seems to be exceedingly rare to even appear on the board, it can, and usually will move in a very erratic pattern, thus making it harder to complete this challenge. I have a few questions for those who have any additional knowledge on this situation, as I have read on multiple websites, this is one of the few challenges that gets the hammer used more than most others, and rightfully so, the sheer chance of everything lining up is daunting, and frustrating. •Does the metroid count as an additional hazard or is it a boss hazard? Bosses seem to spawn near the middle-end of the amount of turns left in a game of Smash Tour, such as Yellow Devil, or Reaper, as opposed to others such as Bullet Bill, which seem to spawn near the beginning, unless they are on the same counter but using my curent method it's been very consistent. •Assumimg you have more than one controller/player during Smash Tour, and the metroid steals from say, Player 1, can Player 2 bump into the metroid and it count towards the challenge because they are both human players, and vice versa? •Are there any particular maps/number of set turns that yield best results concerning RNG?
My current setup is small map, 15 turns, and 4 controllers. I move all 4 players in a circle around the map without interaction between them in order to pass by the turns as quick as possible. Between turns 10-13, a board hazard character will appear, I've yet to encounter the metroid yet, but if/when I don't, I am quickly able to quit, and deselect my Smash Tour parameters and try again. The whole process of moving the characters, and reaching turns 10-13 take about 3-5 minutes, and reapplying the setup for a new Smash Tour takes seconds.
Again, any assistance on someone who put the effort into this challenege and succeeded (without the use of a hammer) would be greatly appreciated.
