Smart bulbs in a lamp with 3 brightness.

I'm curious if having a wiz smart bulb in my bedside lamp that has multiple brightness settings will damage the bulb. After I installed it I turned the lamp to the brightest settings but after I changed the color it started strobing so I turned it to let lowest it appears to work perfectly now . Just wondering if this might damage something in it?
