Just did a blood test and the igg vs fgfr3 was abnormal at 4700<3000 anyone knows what this means???
It means that potentially you have an autoimmune cause of small fiber neuropathy (My fgfre is over 9,000 at last check)...there is high debate, however, over whether ts-hds and/or fgfr3 autoantibodies really have anything to do with neuropathy.... I feel that they do as someone living with them... I recently learned I also have a Primary Immune Deficiency Disorder aka an Inborn Error of Immunity that can lead to autoimmune issues in around 24% of people according to the current medical literature. If you aren't friends with pubmed.gov yet, you should become acquainted - it is a database of medical studies (but not the only database of them).... you can type in small fiber neuropathy fgfr3 for example and see the articles that show up and read the results and conclusion section or even just the conclusion section to save your eyes -- you can also filter by the type of study to see the most credible results...
