Helloooo all, recently I made a decision to revamp and possibly scale up the family business, a brick and mortar spa that retains majority of our clients with our authentic massages.
The business is built based on old school brick and mortar business model, never done any marketing let alone digital/online marketing. It’s only recently that I created a neat website that’s incorporated with an online payment gateway, acuity scheduling system, and a gift card system that drastically modernized our business. I also launched a few adwords campaign for the different types of services that we provide, which have brought in a decent amount of traffic in the last couple of weeks.
I’m not stopping here, since I’ve made a decision to go all out on scaling our spa business. I want to learn and adopt efficient methods and digital systems into the business running. We have never kept any precise bookkeeping, when we do it’s done manually with paper and pencil. I want to start off with using a more efficient way to bookkeep. I’ve heard of quickbooks, but not sure if it’s suitable for us or if it’s already outdated.
What are some softwares, strategies and just general things you think I should learn about and use??
Greatly appreciated!
