Pay as you go workers comp?

Got approached by a broker about switching to this model instead of having the policy cost estimated upfront and then reconciled at the end of the year.
We got a surprise $12k audit bill last year, so this option is kind of appealing. It just integrates into our payroll service and calculates it every period.
Are there any downsides I'm missing?
