Does anyone have any recommendations from experience about dealing with multiple business with your spouse? My wife owns a successful photography business, in which we are adding cinematography (my background). We also have a photobooth, do commercial work, etc. I left my "real" job a year ago and started a web development / online marketing business. I had been paying the bills with this for a long time for another company. I have a waiting list of clients already.
Our responsibilities are co-mingled. We have written out job descriptions for each others tasks that play to our strengths. I feel like we are having a rough time prioritizing work and getting things done. Anyone have any experience here? Do we need to set two different schedules and go to work at "different" businesses, even though we share the same building? We need structure, but I'm not sure what that should look like.
