I run a small lawncare business, we are still in our infancy in NW Florida (the season has slowed). I feel like my best marketing strategy is hyper local social media campaigns targeting specifically the areas I want to service. I feel like I have been flushing money down the toilet with Facebook and Instagram. I won’t use lead generation companies like Angi or Thumbtack either. Looking for some ideas to target homeowners to get them on my list for when the seasons really ramp up even though it’s not at the front of their minds right now. Trying to operate on a low budget because, as I said, we are still in the very early stages of this venture so most of my money has been tied up in equipment. (Had an ad budget but had to go over budget on equipment). Any advice is good advice to me, just don’t flood my messages with promises to get results with Google ads or whatever, I’m looking for actual advice from someone who has been through it or maybe some less conventional “out of the box” thinking. I will add that I have been distributing flyers the old fashioned way as well.
