I have an idea, should I take from my 401k to start?

Post Body

I have an idea for a small business. I am almost certain there is a market for the product I am wanting to create.

I've talked to engineers that can make my technology and also l've talked with a few suppliers in China that can make the actual product.

I can do the app work/shopity account/branding so that would save a little money. Right now I am looking at spending around $15k to bring this into fruition. I have around $100k in my 401k at the moment and have never touched it. Do you think it's smart to take $15k out to try this business?

I could either waste $15k or get myself out of the rat race and work for myself. Risk/reward on this one is huge. Does anyone have any advice or have been in this situation before?
