Opening an LLC

I am trying to open up an LLC with two other partners but opt in for the S-Corp status. Anyways out of the three partners one would work in the business full time while the other two would keep their full time jobs. Being that said could we just open up and pay that full time partner a salary while the other two don’t get a salary until things start to pick up? Also if things start to pick up would the other two partners be left out of a potential distribution if things get to that point?
