I started a construction business. I have my first job coming up for a company. They emailed requesting my w-9 and my remit to information. My remit to is just the address and business name from what I have read online. But the w-9 I am curious is that just the printable form I can download from the IRS website? So I just print that out and give it to them?
Sorry this is probably exactly what I assume it is but I don't want to look like a moron in front of my first customer. It would be embarrassing to send them over the wrong information. Also is there a special form I should send the remit to info over with or will the name of business and address written in an email be fine
Thanks for your help.
