So, I'm about to open a brick and mortar retail space, and I'd like to purchase items like earrings, necklaces, plushes, and patches from local vendors that do either the convention circuit or an Etsy store. I was hoping I could get some feedback about purchase cost vs consignment cost. My goal is to sell at their listed price as not to compete with themself. Is a good discounted purchase rate, say...35 - 40% off, and a good consignment rate around 25 - 30%? Wasn't sure what numbers others use! Thanks for any feedback!
